In recent years, innovative composites made of Cementitious Matrix Reinforced by continuous Fibers (FRCM) were introduced for strengthening of Reinforced Concrete (RC) members. Effectiveness of an externally bonded strengthening material strongly depends on bond performances and on mechanical proper-ties of concrete cover. In this paper results of bond tests on PBO-FRCM bonded to concrete specimens are presented. Experimental results allowed the calibration of a local bond-slip relationship for the considered strengthening material.

Abstract
In recent years, innovative composites made of Cementitious Matrix Reinforced by continuous Fibers (FRCM) were introduced for strengthening of Reinforced Concrete (RC) members. Effectiveness of an externally bonded strengthening material strongly depends on bond performances and on mechanical proper-ties of concrete cover. In this paper results of bond tests on PBO-FRCM bonded to concrete specimens are presented. Experimental results allowed the calibration of a local bond-slip relationship for the considered strengthening material.File in questo prodotto:
