Over the past years, several disruptive transformations have arisen to support businesses in the purpose to be sustainable and resilience in turbulent times. In this realm, previous scholars have noticed that digital technology and data intelligence have a significant impact on business and society at large (Bresciani 2021), especially during COVID-19 (Ferrigno and Cucino, 2021). Furthermore, the large-scale adoption of digital technologies in the organizations spreads new opportunities for supply chain management (Choudhury 2021). Indeed, a technology-driven supply chain is trigged by new management roles, i.e., Chief Digital Officer or Chief Information Officers, that handle the Digital Transformation (DT) within the firms (Scuotto 2022). Despite the issue of supply chain resilience has been thoroughly analyzed in literature, there is a lack of a comprehensive review concerning the impact of digital technologies and supply chain on society. The paper can be considered a first attempt to systematize latest contributions on technology-driven supply chain. Thus, the paper aims to systematize extant literature on the usage of digital technologies to increase supply chain performance and resilience in order to examine the overall impact on society. Finally, the paper provides theoretical implications by spreading knowledge on technology-driven supply chain in management literature. Moreover, managerial implications evaluate the reduction of the environmental impact of firms’ activities thus creating additional value for the final customers.

Abstract
Moreover, managerial implications evaluate the reduction of the environmental impact of firms’ activities thus creating additional value for the final customers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
