This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation of the flexural response of reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with a steel reinforced grout (SRG) system bonded to the tension face with or without the use of mechanical anchors. Test results in terms of failure modes, failure load, load- deflection curves, strain and stress distributions and ductility, presented and discussed in the paper, point out the effectiveness of the SRG composites as strengthening systems of existing reinforced concrete structures.

Abstract
This paper presents the results of an experimental investigation of the flexural response of reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with a steel reinforced grout (SRG) system bonded to the tension face with or without the use of mechanical anchors. Test results in terms of failure modes, failure load, load- deflection curves, strain and stress distributions and ductility, presented and discussed in the paper, point out the effectiveness of the SRG composites as strengthening systems of existing reinforced concrete structures.File in questo prodotto:
