The wide spread of novel access technologies, the continuous request of innovative services and the diffusion of cheap mobile terminals arose new challenging issues on how to discover the available, context-aware and best matching services. The problem become harder if we consider that services should be accessed also in a inter-domain scenario, where different telecommunication companies federate to share connectivity and services to their customers. The present work proposes a federated service discovery architecture based on peer-2-peer networks that enable customers belonging to different network domains to share services offered by them in a seamless way.

Abstract
The wide spread of novel access technologies, the continuous request of innovative services and the diffusion of cheap mobile terminals arose new challenging issues on how to discover the available, context-aware and best matching services. The problem become harder if we consider that services should be accessed also in a inter-domain scenario, where different telecommunication companies federate to share connectivity and services to their customers. The present work proposes a federated service discovery architecture based on peer-2-peer networks that enable customers belonging to different network domains to share services offered by them in a seamless way.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
