Nota su alcune sequenze di testi nei canzonieri trobadorici

These notes aim to describe a typology of sequence of texts, which can be found in the Provencal manuscripts. This typology concerns texts that show a chiastic structure (e.g. xyyx, xyzzyx or similar), in which the external elements (side elements) are homogeneous and enclose heterogeneous (but uniform) elements in themselves. The work attempts to explain this phenomenon and attributes its origin to booklets assembled with folios of varied sources; each folio contained homogeneous texts, but was inserted into another folio (containing different texts) without any organization nor selection. The final part of these notes shows that such structure can also be found in the well-organized authorial sections of the manuscripts.

Muovendosi nell’ambito della critica esterna, il contributo intende descrivere una tipologia di sequenza di testi, che talora s’incontra nei manoscritti trobadorici. Si tratta di testi che sono disposti secondo una struttura a chiasmo, nella quale gli elementi esterni sono omogenei tra loro e racchiudono al proprio interno elementi eterogenei, ma tra loro solidali. Il contributo tenta di dare anche una spiegazione del fenomeno, riconducendone l’origine a fascicoli composti da fogli di provenienza disparata, contenenti testi tra loro solidali, ma inseriti l’uno nell’altro senza ordine e senza selezione, e mostra che tale struttura si rinviene anche nelle sezioni autoriali organizzate.
