The contribution intends to describe the encounter between Media Education and pastoral environment, highlighting some characteristic features of communication nowadays and trying to imagine communication in pastoral contexts such as “third space” (Potter and McDougall). The framework is twofold: on the one hand, Media Education as a cultural reference and on the other, the indications offered by the Directory on Social Communications promoted by the Italian Episcopal Conference.
Il contributo intende descrivere l’incontro tra Media Education e pastorale, evidenziando alcuni tratti caratteristici della comunicazione oggi e provando a immaginare la comunicazione nei contesti pastorali come “terzo spazio” (Potter e McDougall). La cornice è duplice: da un lato la Media Education come riferimento culturale e dall’altro le indicazioni offerte dal Direttorio sulle comunicazioni sociali della CEI.
