Adolescence is a crucial period for identity construction, a process that inevitably involves the affective and relational dimensions in a significant way. Social media platforms, which have become the ordinary medium for daily interactions, are in fact permeated by a "logic of the fragment," capable of reshaping the affective imaginary on both an individual and collective level, particularly within Generation Z. Despite legitimate concerns, from a pedagogical perspective, it is essential to refocus on the ability to attribute meaning to the affective experience, re-establishing the cognitive role of narrative thought.

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial period for identity construction, a process that inevitably involves the affective and relational dimensions in a significant way. The latter, in turn, is profoundly influenced by the growing pervasiveness of new technologies and social networks.
