Thinking about education as a project and path, open to personal and community accomplishment, requires considering work as a setting suitable for expressing human creativity. In a generative perspective, the encyclical Laudato Si’ by Pope Francis connects and modernizes the two fundamental dimensions of work: protecting what we are given and cultivating it so that it can become a source of experience capable of contributing to our integral development. Conferring quality on education is therefore a basic requirement for favouring the spread of respectable, satisfying, participatory occupations in the name of fraternity as the fullness of individual fulfilment with and for others in just institutions.
La possibilità di pensare il farsi dell’educazione come progetto e percorso, aperto al compimento della persona e della comunità, sollecita a considerare la realtà lavorativa quale ambito idoneo all’espressione della creatività umana. In una prospettiva generativa, l’Enciclica Laudato si’ di Papa Francesco connette e attualizza le due dimensioni fondamentali del lavoro: custodire quanto ci è dato e coltivarlo affinché possa divenire fonte di esperienza in grado di contribuire allo sviluppo integrale. Attribuire qualità alla formazione diviene, pertanto, il presupposto basilare per favorire la diffusione di occupazioni dignitose, soddisfacenti, partecipative, nel segno della fraternità come pienezza della realizzazione individuale con e per l’altro in istituzioni giuste.
