This work shows some examples of linguistic interference between Saurian, a minority German language spoken in the small community of Sauris in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Romance languages (mainly Friulian but also Italian) within Gusmani’s theoretical framework. Examples of loanwords, morpheme induction and calques are presented. It is also shown how the digital archive ArDLiS (Archivio Digitale della Lingua Saurana) is essential for the study of interference from a diachronic perspective.

Abstract
This work shows some examples of linguistic interference between Saurian, a minority German language spoken in the small community of Sauris in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Romance languages (mainly Friulian but also Italian) within Gusmani’s theoretical framework. Examples of loanwords, morpheme induction and calques are presented. It is also shown how the digital archive ArDLiS (Archivio Digitale della Lingua Saurana) is essential for the study of interference from a diachronic perspective.File in questo prodotto:
