This paper aims to propose a reflection on the possibility of achieving a “third way” in legal teaching, which goes beyond both the traditional depository approach and the drifts of a student-oriented approach that risks absolving the teacher of their educational role. Starting from an experience of active teaching carried out through Augusto Boal’s “Theatre of the Oppressed”, the paper will seek to highlight how it is possible to enhance the student's subjectivity without abdicating the authoritative role of the teacher, called instead to become a “transformative hinge” between the classroom and society.

Abstract
This paper aims to propose a reflection on the possibility of achieving a “third way” in legal teaching, which goes beyond both the traditional depository approach and the drifts of a student-oriented approach that risks absolving the teacher of their educational role. Starting from an experience of active teaching carried out through Augusto Boal’s “Theatre of the Oppressed”, the paper will seek to highlight how it is possible to enhance the student's subjectivity without abdicating the authoritative role of the teacher, called instead to become a “transformative hinge” between the classroom and society.File in questo prodotto:
